I can still picture it now, those two kids warped down into an arena with fans cheering them on! Crossfire! You gotta win it in the Crossfire! That 15 second spot makes it look like I could have hours, days, no weeks of fun with that game and be the envy of the neighborhood. I had to have it. Unfortunately, my mother did not agree so we settled on a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle action figure (probably Splinter, I didn’t have him yet).

So, I was sitting there the other day at work (about 20 years from the last time I saw Crossfire - yeah, I was bored) and all of the sudden I heard that theme song in my head: “Crossfire! You gotta win it in the Crossfire!” I Googled it because this is my chance to own the best board game of my childhood that I never had. Surely I could find someone on eBay that didn’t want it. Oh, I found someone on eBay that didn’t want it alright, the wanted to pawn it off on me for $149! WOW! Now I want to buy as many Crossfire games as I can. I have since discovered that some generous folks are parting with their games anywhere for $15 to $40 on eBay - thank you! Now I can have my own Crossfire game, take it home and show my mom how successful I’ve become. Right…
